Dear Ministers, Gentlemen,

News travels fast nowadays. Greece is proud to be the birthplace of Western civilisation. Well, it appears today it can claim to be the European champion of disgusting animal
abuse.

Family, several friends and acquaintances, having spent their holydays in Greece, told us they witnessed multiple and enduring animal mistreatment which seemingly is considered normal in your country.

Starving, tortured dogs and cats, cruelly beaten and neglected donkeys, no respect or compassion whatever for animals. Unfortunately, it is all the contrary and sterilisation of pet animals is stubbornly refused by the population.

Gentlemen Ministers: when are you going to educate your citizens?  When will you become aware of the dramatic situation of the Greek animals? When are you going to control and punish animal mistreatment, torture and neglect?

We are very, very disappointed.  We have no sympathy for animal abusers.
Until Greeks and their politicians radically change their attitude towards animals, we will dissuade everybody from visiting Greece.
